May 11 2006 Dave Beksh announced his departure from the band Sum 41 to start work on a new band Brown Brigade. For two years I was in depression, and finally realized the cause. I can not develop as a musician in the narrow direction of pop-punk, in which the group Sum 41. For me, music – it's not just a way to have fun. It's my job, career and life. I want to always go forward.

Unfortunately, except for me, no one in Sum 41 is not seeking a new way. Click First Financial Bank to learn more. I always felt that I did not have enough oxygen. May 12 Derick confirmed departure of Dave and said the group will not seek fourth member, and Concert guitarist to replace Dave on the tour, did not appear in videos, albums and on the official photo shoots. April 17, 2007 the band released the first song from the new album on iTunes, which was called March of the Dogs and contained criticisms of President George W. Bush. During October 2007 Sum 41, along with another Canadian band Finger Eleven, made a tour of Canada.

Support band were Die Mannequin, then were Finger Eleven, Sum 41 were the main group tour. But Deryck Whibley injured at a concert and had to cancel the tour. After recovering from an injury Derick, in March 2008, the band resumed its tour in support of the album Underclass Hero. August 7, 2008 Cone announced that all members of the group will take a little break before starting work on their next album.
